Food is Free Fellows Road

Welcome to Food is Free Fellows Road - a micro-project run from my own garden in Cowes, Isle of Wight. FFFR is a way for me to share surplus plants and produce with my local community. In time, I hope it might become a platform that others may use to share what they have grown too. No payment will be required for any of this produce, hence the name 'Food is Free'  I will write about the philosophy behind the project in the next post, but for now, please watch the film to learn about the amazing initiative that inspired me: the Food is Free Laneway, Balleratt (link here https://youtu.be/ixxIRB2NP5c). As soon as I saw it, it really hit home that this is something that anyone with a garden, and an interest in their community and the environment, could do. So here I am, at the very beginning.

This will also be a place where I share some of my thoughts on wider subjects too. I hope you'll allow me this self-indulgence.

I feel really excited about what's to come, so please watch this space to follow the story of FFFR over its very first season.
